ON Saturday, April 5th, 2008, a group of Mini-School Chorus Members took a field trip to Jazz At Lincoln Center (JALC). The show was titled "What Is A Jazz Singer?" and was hosted by Wynton Marsalis. Students learned about "phrasing," "syncopation," scat-singing," Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald, and Billie Hoilday.
Before the show we stopped at McDonalds. After the show, there was a festival in the JALC building.
